Description:

The primary focus of a Student Research Assistant supporting the Parkdata team will be to participate in analyzing data for the Parkdata program. Parkdata works with parks to implement technological savvy visitor monitoring and management tools. The student research assistant will be analyzing data to inform the tools. Training will be provided upon hiring.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data
  • Assist with summaries and data processing
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates as needed.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to problem solve and create new projects.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
  • Great communication skills both in person and in writing.
  • Experience with land management agencies is helpful but not required.
  • Experience with computer database operations is helpful but not required.
